Real estate market for April 2010 showed significant gains over April 2009.  Increasing number of listings,  mortgage rule changes (effective April 19/10) and recent rate increase will certainly help change and stabilize the market which will lead to less "bidding wars" and happier home buyers...well atleast the Buyers that qualify with the new rules.  Here are some key numbers for April 2010:  
  • April MLS Sales: 10, 898*
  • Avg home price: $437, 600 in April*
  • Listings up by 59%*
