Sales number in February 2011 rose higher than the 4337 sales in January 2011.  While the sales numbers could not keep pace with February 2011, they were still higher than average February sales over the past 10 years.*  The average home sale price was still on the rise in February 2011 and this trend seems to hold for the near future.  An increase in interest rates can certainly threaten this trend. In the meanwhile, here are the key numbers for February 2011
  • Feb 2011 MLS sales: 6266* (down 14% from February 2010)
  • Feb 2011 Avg sale price: $454,423* (up 5% from February 2010)
