Resale home activity has been heating up along with the summer weather. The resale home market has seen increased activity in May and June after a slow start to 2011.  Encouraged by sales and higher prices, more homeowners are likely list their homes.  Interest rates have remained mostly steady and low, increasing Buyer confidence. Here are the key numbers for June 2011:
  • June 2011 MLS sales: 10,230* (up 21% from June 2010)
  • June 2011 Avg sale price: $476,371* (up 9.5% from June 2010)
